Spring 2011 Tech Core Night!!
Tech Core Night is Wednesday, April 6.
This is a great opportunity to get to know the different tech areas you can choose from. (There will be pizza and refreshments!)
Here's the schedule for the event:

Spring 2011 Course Notes
HKN is now selling course notes from 9am to 6pm in ENS 129. Course notes are available for EE302, EE333T, EE445S, EE364D, and EE464. You can pay in cash or by check to “Eta Kappa Nu”.
Course notes sales will end on the 12th day of class, February 2nd.

HKN 2010 AMD Day Design Competition Results
This year's AMD Day Design Competition involved developing an algorithm to fill an arbitrary shape with the minimum possible number of rectangles and triangles. Programming was done in C and the pthread library was allowed for multithreaded implementations. Grading was done based on rectangle performance as well as runtime.
The winners are listed below:
1st place: Ashton Grimball
2nd place: Farhad Abasov
3rd place: Jonathan Tamir
Fewest Blocks: Eric Shrewsberry
Best Parallel Implementation: Joshua James

HKN 2010 AMD Day Design Competition
Put your programming skills to the test at the HKN 2010 AMD Day Design Competition! Win cool prizes such as an HP Touch Smart, featuring an AMD processor! The contest begins on Friday, April 2 at 5:00PM with a kick-off in ACA 1.104 and lasts for 24 hours. The programming problem will be announced at the start of that time.
